• When tackling challenges in your journey, always ask yourself, "What am I missing because it feels too stupid?" Remember, simplicity is not a sign of laziness; it's a testament to efficiency.

The World Rewards Outcomes

• While hard work is commendable, the world ultimately rewards outcomes. Founders should shift their focus from merely putting in hard work and effort to delivering tangible results.

• Over-complicating processes may provide a false sense of accomplishment, but true success lies in achieving the desired outcomes for your endeavours.

Keep It Smart & Simple (KISS)..

• ..and then make it smarter and simpler. Complexity can hinder progress and innovation. Embrace simplicity in your strategies, communication, and decision-making. This is vital as especially as you grow and scale.

• Simplifying your approach allows for better understanding, smoother execution, and quicker adaptation to changes by the team. This also establishes a clear value proposition to the customers and eco-system stakeholders.

Feynman Technique for Problem-Solving

• Physicist Richard Feynman's approach to learning can be applied to simplify complex startup and business challenges.

  1. Choose a concept i.e. identify the core aspects of your business's challenge.

  2. Explain it to a 12-year-old i.e. break down the problem into simple terms, leading to clarity.

  3. Reflect, refine, and simplify i.e. continuously assess and refine your approach, eliminating unnecessary complexities and redundancies.

  4. Organize and review i.e. structuring your solutions for a streamlined and effective implementation.

In a nutshell, simplicity can be a powerful differentiator - seek opportunities and solutions that may seem too simple for others. As a founder, look for straightforward solutions and strategies that might be overlooked by competitors, and act on them with confidence.
